The Razorbill, A North Atlantic Bird

Razorbill

Only found in the North Atlantic. It nests on northern coasts and islands. They feed mostly on small fish that they catch while swimming underwater. Occasionally they steal fish from puffins… May mate for life, their nests are built in crevices in cliffs or on ledges. The Razorbill is thought to be the closest living relative of the extinct Great Auk.
