Eastern Screech-Owl

I actually walked by this bird several times before asking someone where I could find the Owl that people had told me to go and see… It really does blend in extremely well. The Owl was roosting during the day in a hole in a tree, only a few feet up from the ground! Doesn’t the feather pattern look like the tree? When I finally did find the bird I was only a couple of feet away and could have reached out and touched him…
